Our location

Pefkari is located in the southern part of the island,between the two villages of Limenaria and Potos on the south side of the island. It is one kilometre from Potos and three kilometres from Limenaria.

The beach has small pebbles and sand, and clean deep waters. It is a popular and well organised beach, with installations for sea-sports. In the same region there are camping, taverns and cafes.

Pefkari was the meeting place for the fishers. Today it is only for tourists. Pefkari is south-west of the isle and directly next to the village Potos. Pefkari is the smallest village on the isle, but it has a lot of activities for the beach. In Pefkari you find mostly hotels, restaurants, bars and discos.

All along the coast are umbrella pines, who are very typical on the isle. Time after time Pefkari changed into a village for tourists. If you don`t want to miss some action and fun at the beach, so stay some days here. With the offer of activities for the beach, it won`t be boring. 

Pefkari got its name from the coastal pine forest which extravagently engulfs the sandy white beach and covers the surrounding area. Here at Pefkari you will find a small but unique establishment of family-owned businesses developed clearly for tourism along a coast of pure white sand and a well organized beach.

The beach of Pefkari has been awarded a blue flag, which is a significant award representing cleanliness, organization and success of meeting certain operational and enforcement criteria. Serenity, entertainment, good food, water-sports and all types of services can be found in our small settlement. You can even conviniently walk to the two nearby villages, Potos and Limenaria, if you desire.

If you want to avoid the noise of the big clubs but also be near them, Pefkari is a unique choice on the southern coast of Thassos.
