Pefkari is located in the southern part of the island,between the two villages of Limenaria and Potos on the south side of the island. It is one kilometre from Potos and three kilometres from Limenaria.
The beach has small pebbles and sand, and clean deep waters. It is a popular and well organised beach, with installations for sea-sports. In the same region there are camping, taverns and cafes.
Pefkari was the meeting place for the fishers. Today it is only for tourists. Pefkari is south-west of the isle and directly next to the village Potos. Pefkari is the smallest village on the isle, but it has a lot of activities for the beach. In Pefkari you find mostly hotels, restaurants, bars and discos.
